[MN] activities update

Just a reminder for everyone to sign up for Tables of Eight.  The sign-up sheet is located in the fellowship hall.  This is a great way for members to all get to know one another.  Just to recap incase anyone hasn't heard about it in church, tables of eight is basically a revolving group of four couples that meet everyother month.  The couples change each time so everyone will get to meet with new people every other month.  The groups are randomly selected and I will assign the host.  The host of the event will determine what type of event he or she will have (bbq, drinks, steak dinners, lunch, etc. and the host will also decide whether the event includes kids or no kids.).  You will only be selected to host once or twice a year.  However, please don't think that if you can't host for one reason or another you shouldn't sign up.  Just let me know you'd rather not host and will work around it.  This could be a really fun event so please take part and lets get to know each other.  One more thing- Yes anyone can join you do not have to be married or a couple!

Six Flags
The group outing is set for July 29th.  Yes, it is a Tuesday- that is the parks slowest day so to prevent longer lines and so forth that is the day that was choosen.  He's the scoop if we have 100 or more we will be doing a picnic in the park (all you can eat buffet and a bunch of other perks) is we have less than 100 it will be simple discounted tickets to the park (no food included).  The price is $47.00 (like I said there are other perks with this one-like free parking, and etc.) or $31.00.  I need the money by July 13th please.  Sign up in the fellowship hall or contact me to let me to add you to the list.  Family and friends are invited as well and I did extend this offer to Lamb of God as well.  

Church picnic is Aug. 24th on church grounds.  I'm still looking for people that are willing to help me with this very large undertaking.
