Friends,

Beata Susan Peperkorn was born at 12:31 p.m. on Saturday, January 12,  
2008.  She is 9 lbs 6 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long, and with reddish/ 
blondish hair (such as there is).

Mother and daughter are doing grandly.  Beata is a Latin word that  
means "blessed".  It is pronounced Bay-ah-tah.
