[MN] May 3rd Walk for Hunger /church picinic in Aug.

The Shalom Center is holding their annual fundraiser Walk for Hunger on May 3rd.  It is a 1 or 3 mile walk at Kenosha's lakefront.  I'm looking for people to join myself in the walk or sponsor (donate).  This is a very important event for the Shalom Center.  Please contact me for a registration form/sponsor sheet.  For those of you who wish to simple sponsor and not walk I will hang up a sheet on the food pantry cabinet.  Please fill it out and get the money to me by may 2nd.  Otherwise you may also contact me directly and I can personally add your name and sponsor amount.  I am walking representing the church so I hope several of you will join me.  Also, I will be putting together a large food basket for this event as well.  So as much as I appreciate everyone who has donated to the food pantry I'm asking again to increase donations it again.  I'm worried that after the basket for the Shalom Center, we may be running low again.  

I've starting planning a church picinic for Aug. 24th.  Right now it will either be at Pets. (Petrified Springs) or on the land in the back of the church.  Yes, if it's held at church we will be renting a tent.  I will be making the final decision as to where it should be in the next week.  Please if you have any imput or prefer one location over the other let me know.  Although, please note I can not please everybody.  Also, if you feel that there is something you can offer or you have a specific way to help in the planning, please by all means contact me.  

Don't forget for this week only the exercise class is meeting on Wed. at 6:30pm.
